Today, I am excited to announce news that will further our partner leadership and success. Effective January 17, Denzil Samuels will join HPE leading the Worldwide Indirect Sales organization for Enterprise Group. As a visionary leader with 35+ years of experience, Denzil brings a wealth of channel expertise combined with a strong track record of driving innovation, operations management and sales.
Denzil joins us from General Electric (GE), where he served as the global head of channels, alliances, business development and ventures for GE Digital. In addition to managing all channel resellers globally, he focused on using machine data to provide industrial companies with analytics and insights. Prior to GE, Denzil was senior vice president for worldwide partners and solutions at Salesforce.com. He was responsible for the recruitment, investment, and business development of partners to drive growth, building Salesforce’s channel from scratch. Previously he held senior leadership roles at Siemens Enterprise, Northrop Grumman, Avaya, and Qwest Cyber Solutions.
Denzil takes over this role from Kerry Bailey, who after successfully transitioning his responsibilities to Denzil, will be leaving HPE to pursue other opportunities in line with his own professional aspirations.
